<image:caption>Exile Archives. Buffet Faculty Fellowship (25-) Collaborative work with Ghanaian institutions to digitize fragile archives and translate contemporary art exhibitions into curricula so that they might facilitate the permanence of forms of knowledge that are typically more temporary. Common Archives: A Celebration of Black Neighborhood Life. DCASE (23-) A record and exhibition of Chicago’s last, Black-led housing co-ops, documenting oral histories, artifacts, and everyday acts of resistance against gentrification. A central goal of this collection is to celebrate Black neighborhood life. Grace House Archives. (21-) A two-decade body of writing by formerly incarcerated Black mothers, whose reflections on care, labor, and survival offer radical interventions into carceral studies and feminist theory. This collection is intended to archive women who are seemingly “undeserving” of it.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Humanities - African Arts Futures</image:title>
<image:caption>Multi-day Symposium on African Cultural Production at the University of Ghana, World Faze, Palm Moments and Dot Atelier, July 26-28th, 2026 - Accra, Ghana. What should be demanded of Africa’s cultural producers, laborers and the systems that encompass them? How might more equitable production models be imagined and maintained? In what ways does contemporary African cultural production reproduce or depart from extractive paradigms? What responsibilities do scholars and artists bear in facilitating more equitable labor conditions? How might aspects of production be safeguarded to protect Black intellectual work? The collaborative symposium - between artists and scholars - seeks to answer these questions.</image:caption>
